A civil society activist and grassroots mobilizer, Ms Susan Chinwendu Amadi, has emerged as the Women Leader for youths of Ohaji LGA in Imo State, Nigeria.

Ms Susan Chinwendu Amadi, was among members of the executive of NACOY who were elected in an election, widely acknowledged to be peaceful, free and fair.

In an appreciation message released by Ms Susan Amadi and obtained by our reporters, Ms Susan Amadi said,

“I, Sussan Chinwendu Amadi, sincerely thank all NACOY members for giving me this rare opportunity to serve. It was your support and prayers, which made my succesful election as the NACOY woman leader, possible.

Permit me to pledge my unalloyed commitment and devotion towards the lofty goals of NACOY, and also to plead for your continuous and unwavering support towards achieving greatness for the entire Ohaji because I cannot do without all of you.

Being elected as the NACOY woman leader, is a call to serve you all and the entire Ohaji, therefore I wish to assure you all of my loyalty, respect and hard work especially in the area of promoting and protecting the interest of women, the female youth and the girl child in Ohaji LGA.

I pray for God’s wisdom and guidance as we move towards discharging our duties and responsibilities. It is worthy to note that we have already began our tenure peacefully.

I also pray for the peace and progress of Ohaji, for United we stand and divided we fall.
